Job Summary

Housing Services Managers oversee all on-campus housing services, which include housing assignments, camp and conference services, and Commons Desk Operations.

Representative Duties

  • Oversee housing services including student housing assignments, camp and conference services, and Commons Desk Operations
  • Create and maintain housing services guidelines and procedures; oversee compliance
  • Administer student housing contracts, apartment leases, and camp/conference agreements; ensure terms, conditions, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee financial transactions; prepare invoices, manage payment plans, monitor accounts, and reconcile delinquencies
  • Maximize housing occupancy through marketing; conduct student outreach, provide presentations, and maintain social media platforms and websites
  • Assess student-resident and camp/conference housing requirements; determine and manage room blocking and space allocation; oversee rosters and room assignment process; manage the American Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation compliance
  • Provide direction and standards for Commons Desk Operations including room, key, supply, and equipment check-in/out; ensure mail, package, and delivery service regulatory compliance; manage operational schedule to ensure staffing levels accommodate student and guest needs and requirements
  • Ensure safe and secure residential living; report and appropriately respond to emergencies or issues of concern
  • Establish a student and guest centered work environment; develop and communicate standards; ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Hire, train, coach, supervise, schedule, and evaluate employees; recommend, plan, and coordinate professional development opportunities

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 11
  • Minimum – $68,200.00
  • MidPoint – $85,200.00
  • Maximum – $102,300.00

10+ years of relevant experience, includes 3+ years of supervisory experience
