Reporting Specialist – Intermediate Professional (PSU2438)
Job Summary
The Reporting Specialist maintains strong proficiency with data programs and/or applications; responds to report requests; configures reports and templates; provides support for data applications; ensures data quality by defining data collection and validation procedures.
Representative Duties
- Utilize business data programs, systems, and/or applications to support ongoing data collection, management, and reporting activities
- Modify, configure, and update existing reports or templates
- Evaluate and respond to new report requests from internal and external stakeholders; produce and deliver reports utilizing varied data sources
- Provide support for departmental data applications, software, or interfaces; troubleshoot data entry procedures, system errors, validate data
- Develop a departmental data management plan to collect and prepare data
- Perform and evaluate data validation procedures; resolve data discrepancies
- Prepare test plans, execute testing and ensure desired results are achieved; support initiatives and individual requests for data mining
- Lead data collection and reporting to define priorities and deliverables based on stakeholder needs and service targets; document best practices
- Develop training resources; provide functional and technical support and/or training
- May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 7
- Minimum – $46,400.00
- MidPoint – $56,800.00
- Maximum – $67,300.00
