Job Summary and Representative Duties

Classroom Technology Support Managers provide general oversight of the Technology Classroom and Lab and Classroom Support operation for general-purpose classrooms and computer labs; develop and implement annual life-cycle replacement program; provide input, recommendations, and planning for new technologies and enhancements to existing and new classrooms, labs and services; provide oversight and coordination of the support hotline.

  • Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise technical-service (unionized) employees that support general purpose classroom technology
  • Schedule and oversee work of employees; ensure resources are allocated appropriately
  • Identify training needs; ensure training is completed
  • Responsible for oversight of operations and services including equipment selection, installation, evaluation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance
  • Ensure quality standards are being upheld
  • Establish and maintain operational procedures
  • Provide input and recommendations for space renovations; provide input and collaborate on room technologies layouts
  • Review designs and verify proper locations for technology on architectural drawings; ensure ADA compliance
  • Develop, track and implement life-cycle plan for all technology classroom equipment
  • Process and/or order all technology components needed for new installation and life-cycle activity

  • Minimum – $76,700.00
  • MidPoint – $95,900.00
  • Maximum – $115,100.00
