Job Summary

IT Quality Assurance Analysts evaluate, test, and validate IT systems, services, and /or software; assess service levels and system performance to ensure established quality standards; document issues and track status in designated systems; develop solutions to resolve problems and make recommendations for improvements to process, configuration, and products.

Representative Duties

  • Plan and implement programs to ensure information systems and services, including in-house and third-party software, meet minimum organizational standards and end-user requirements
  • Ensure adequate testing prior to implementation; identify improvements to current processes and procedures; develop models of possible future configurations
  • Collaborate with technical team in problem resolution found during the testing process
  • Administer problem management process, including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution
  • Perform work-flow analysis and recommend quality improvements
  • Make recommendations regarding the acquisition and/or implementation of software to increase information systems efficiency
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as errors, error counts, test results, and test status
  • Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements; integrate improvements into business processes

Salary Structure
  • Comp Grade – 9
  • Minimum – $56,200.00
  • MidPoint – $68,800.00
  • Maximum – $81,500.00
