Oracle Systems Analyst – Intermediate Professional (PSU2420)
Job Summary and Representative Duties
The Oracle Systems Analyst is responsible for optimizing and supporting Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and solutions (i.e. LionPATH) to enhance business operations; analyzes business processes; configures Oracle modules; troubleshoots and resolves system and user issues; provides support to ensure the system meets the university's needs.
- Work with business units to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring Oracle ERP solutions align with university's needs; define and determine scope, objectives, feasibility, and configuration prioritization
- Configure, customize, and implement Oracle modules to meet business requirements and improve efficiency; serve as a liaison between technical staff and user groups
- Develop detailed documentation for system configurations, customizations, and process flows
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle applications, addressing and resolving system issues; assist with implementing workarounds when system issues affect operations; provide guidance and training as needed
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy; collect user feedback regarding system performance
- Lead or participate in projects, including system enhancements and new feature rollouts; collaborate in the development of project plans, manage timelines, and communicate progress to stakeholders; ensure minimal disruption to business operations
- Develop and execute test plans and validation, as well as other quality assurance measures; conduct testing such as user acceptance, performance, security, usability, etc.
- Design and generate reports to support business decision-making
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system through regular audits and data validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, test new functionalities, and manage change requests
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance understanding and effective use of the system
- Ensure ERP system operations comply with University policies and compliance regulations
- Maintain relationships with vendors; work with vendors on bug fixes, new features, and proper use of products
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements; recommend solutions to optimize system performance and functionality
- Stay current with Oracle updates and best practices
- May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

Salary Structure
- Comp Grade – 11
- Minimum – $68,200.00
- MidPoint – $85,200.00
- Maximum – $102,300.00
