Performing Arts Operations Specialist – Advanced Professional (PSU2483)
Job Summary and Representative Duties
The Performing Arts Operations Specialist supports the planning, operation, community engagement, educational initiatives, and fund-raising of a performing arts facility/program; oversees the performance schedule, generates marketing materials and communication plans, and supports a diverse array of programming.Â
Conduct day-to-day operations of a performing arts facility/program
Provide support to strategic planning, contract and policy development, and resource generation and allocation
Participate in the development of programming including but not limited to performances, presentations, exhibitions, productions, audience services, ticketing services, marketing, and financial processing
Implement procedures to accommodate presentations and performances
Manage projects and events; oversee the promotion of events
Engage in marketing activities, which may include graphic and website design
Ensure facilities are maintained; establish and maintain relationship with internal resources for maintenance support
Initiate and maintain relationships with University community, guest presenters/performances, and external audiences
Participate in fund-raising activities; write and assist with the preparation of grants
May supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management

- Minimum – $56,200.00
- MidPoint – $68,800.00
- Maximum – $81,500.00
